Just found these for the first time in my local small health food store and OMG they are DIVINE. I’m ready to go buy them out tomorrow because I haven’t tasted anything this good that’s plant based in decades of being vegan.
Got these as a treat after a hard week. SO much better than the Debbie's pies and GF! Make 'em bigger.
The oatmeal creme pies are my favorite, and everyone else must love them just as much as me because they're always out of stock! I have celiac disease with a dairy allergy as well. These don't ever upset anything in my body. Definitely safe for celiacs. Make more please!
I buy these at my local HyVee. A little expensive for the amount you get but its been a nice treat until now. The taste is still very good but only just a month ago this item looked much like the chocolate creme pie its kind of based on. Today, i purchased a box and noticed that the packaging was a little different. Didnt think much of it tell i took one out of the box. Now the "sandwich" is two flimsy brittle chocolate sponge patties with a truly laughable amount of creme that didnt even cover the full inside. Like I said the taste was good but the "sandwich" crubbled in my hand as I ate it. If this is due to trying to keep the cost "low" , then it is not worth making.
These are not the same as the ones you sold at Whole Foods. Seems like they are the B version. Less cream, less moist.
