As someone who eats a vegan diet, and I also limit my sweets to every other day, these cookies are a perfect fit!. This last order, I didn't receive my complete order. I sent an email to make them aware of the shortage, I IMMEDIATELY received an apology and the shipment was sent out immediately. To my surprise, I didn't just receive the missing item but I was sent the WHOLE ORDER!! THIS is going above and beyond. I recommend them every chance I get!!
The only vegan snacks I love on cheat day!
I bought these cookies for my husband who went vegan 4 months ago. The day after they arrived, they were GONE. They did not last 24 hours in my house and they were mostly eaten by my son who could NOT believe that these cookies were vegan. So moist and delicious. My family loves Maxine's Heavenly cookies!
Our cookies are lightly sweetened
with coconut sugar and dates.
With notes of brown sugar and caramel,
these naturally delicious sugars are a great alternative to highly refined sweeteners.

THE PROBLEM WITH REFINED SUGAR
White sugar comes from sugarcane or sugar beets. But the refining process makes the original plant completely irrelevant because nothing remains but sucrose molecules.
Though both plants contain vitamins and minerals, none make it through the refinement process. The process involves many special machines and chemicals - you can't make white sugar at home, even if you had a sugar cane plant in your backyard!
Because none of the natural fiber and nutrients from the original plant come along with it, it can spike your blood sugar.
THE PROBLEM WITH STEVIA, MONK FRUIT
AND SUGAR ALCOHOLS
While many of these sweeteners are marketed as natural, they are very far removed from their originating source. Like white sugar, they are heavily refined and cannot be made without industrial machinery—they are not natural, contain no nutrients, and your body isn’t really set up to process them.
Be sure to check your labels. Both sweeteners are often mixed with fillers like dextrose, maltodextrin, or erythritol.
The icing on the cake? They are known for having an aftertaste. Bitter, artificial, unusual...decidedly not delicious!
