It's not bad, but it's not really gingerbread either. It's too light on the ginger, too light on the cinnamon and nutmeg, and wayyyyy too forward on the clove. I think someone's grandparents would really enjoy this, but it's just not for me.
These Gingerbread Cream Sandwiches are sooo good! Such a treat for those of us who have a restricted diet. Thank you Maxine's Heavenly!
This does NOT taste like a gingerbread cookie of your childhood. At first bite, you might be like…wait…what🤔? BUT then, you’re like…wait…whaaaaat😋?! It tastes really good. It’s a spice combo that is oddly addictive, maybe because it’s so unique. It’s not like any cookie I’ve eaten. My fav crème sandwich is the peanut butter, but these got eaten even quicker than those because they were just calling my name at snack time!
Fabulously delicious, rich with spice and everything nice I had to reorder in a few days after my husband found them!
Our decadent, naturally sweetened cookies make it easy to turn your love/hate relationship with sugar into one that’s ALL LOVE. Having a sweet tooth is natural—the sugar you eat should be natural too!
In an effort to be “healthy”, many have veered towards manufactured zero calorie sugar alcohols and refined sweeteners like stevia and monk fruit to satisfy their cravings. But Mother Nature tastes pretty good all on her own, and our bodies prefer it!
So we started with Maxine’s original recipe and swapped out the unhealthy ingredients for better ones, including substituting refined, bleached white sugar with coconut sugar and dates.
